New to stand up paddle boarding and fancy giving it a go? Perhaps you've had a go or bought your own kit and would like some formal instruction and guidance? If so, this beginner stand up paddleboarding lesson is perfect for you!
You will be equipped with all the essential skills from getting up and standing confidently on the board, turning effectively, self-rescue, plus safety and awareness knowledge..
In just under two hours, you wil be introduced to the basics of stand-up paddleboarding, focusing on foundational skills for balance, paddling, self-rescue, and safe navigation on calm water. The aim of the session is to get you to be confident to start enjoying the amazing world of SUP

SUP FAMILY & FRIENDS
Padlo also offers exclusive group activity for you and the family, friends or colleagues. Whether you’ve been paddleboarding before and want to arrange a fun day out on the water, or you want a complete SUP beginners lesson, this is the perfect session for you.
Bookings can be made for up to 6 people per session.
For larger families and groups, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Location: This is a 1.5-2 hour session at Llyn Padarn in Llanberis.
Minimum of 3 required to run a small group session
You will be provided with all the kit which includes a board, paddle, leash, buoyancy aid, and a dry bag. You're welcome to bring your own board to get familiar with your kit.
It is advisalbe to wear trainers or neoprene shoes to protect your feet- no flip flops or crocs as they are trip hazards.
Wetsuit hire can be added to your booking is an added option, or bring your own. During warmer days, active wear or swimwear is also suitable.
The Welsh weather is slightly out of our control and your safety is top priority.
In the event of poor weather, particularly strong winds, alternative dates will be arranged.
